Here is information relating to the current Covid-19 pandemic.
- Have your hours of operation changed?
No. We are working, at minimum, our normal work hours. There are times we are actually working longer than normal hours to keep up with demand.
- Can I still utilize the pharmacy on-call phone number?
Yes. Our on-call staff are still working as usual.
- What steps have been taken to ensure the safety of the medication packed for residents?
Our staff has been spread out to work staggered shifts to limit exposure to others. Staff that can work from home are doing so. Our technicians wear gloves when packaging medication, and all employees are screened for temperature and symptoms before starting their shift.
- With some employees working from home who do I contact and how?
Follow your same procedure for contacting your point of contact. If you are able to email them, that will best ensure you can reach them. Phone lines are still being answered and work is continuing.
- How has delivery changed?
Our drivers are no longer requiring direct contact and signatures from our recipients. The drivers will allow you to check the order before accepting it. Then, the driver will sign the packing slip stating COVID-19. To prevent cross contamination between facilities the drivers are using hand sanitizer, sanitizing wipes to clean off frequently touched surfaces in their vehicle, and are also being screened for temperature and symptoms before beginning their route.
